ACT Properties’ brief presentation
ACT was incorporated in 2003 to take advantage of the market opportunity offered by the interest of property funds to invest in Italy in the acquisition of income producing property investments.
This market was almost unexploited and without exchange rate risks which had just been eliminated by the Euro.

Between then and today ACT has been advising institutional property funds on the acquisition of income producing investments, with a particular focus on shopping centres, retail parks and logistics parks.

ACT has been instrumental in successfully advising companies such as Aareal bank, Schroders, Redilco and Beni Stabili in all aspects of the acquisition of such investments.

Subsequent to the 2008 financial crisis, which brought the income producing property investments market to a grinding halt, ACT commenced looking for alternative and synergic business activities utilising its core competences and experience.

ACT quickly realized that in Italy there is currently, a strong market opportunity for the installation of photovoltaic plants on roofs and parking lot awnings predicated upon the high level of ‘feed in’ incentives and the reduction of the cost of PV panels.

For the whole of 2009 ACT management have thoroughly studied the technical aspects and analysed the market features of the PV plant installation.

This learning process has been relatively quick and easy considering the back ground of ACT directors and managers which had studied and worked in the electrical/electronic industry for a long period of their working career. (See attached CVs)

For the purpose of acquiring the competencies in the field of Photovoltiaic designing and development ACT has recently started a collaboration with Ing. Giuliano Sughi who has developed over 40 photovoltaic plants in the last 5 years.
